ABOUT YOUR INTERPRETER
FLORENCIA PISTRITTO
Florencia Pistritto is an Argentinian interpreter based in Scotland. She trained as an interpreter in Edinburgh College, has a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) in the health pathway, and has been working for The City of Edinburgh Council since 2017. Her daily role involves undertaking assignments for different areas of the Public Service sector such as schools, charities, hospitals, Social Services, criminal defence lawyers, Scottish Sheriff Courts on regular basis since Edinburgh is such a diverse city. Recently she joined the Steering Group of Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) Scottish Society after gaining full membership in 2019. Florencia is currently pursuing a Higher Education Diploma and a Master’s Degree, both in translation.
In her free time, Florencia enjoys crosswords, spending time with her family, reading about science, watching films in different languages to continue practicing her language skills, and listening to CPD webinars.
